Dr. Jacobson engaged students in a guided writing activity through a model, describing a helicopter pilot. Students then compared and contrasted their selected 'benchmark' person with a partner. After conjugating verbs related to the theme of 'flight', students then had great fun identifying words they learned while watching a video clip of Disney's California Adventure ride 'Soarin'. Using 'Make A Room' technology, students studied prepositions by describing the location of furniture and stuctures in a 'transformable' living room.
