Eight students in Mr. Blackwelder's Japanese 3-4/5-6 combo class took the
National Japanese Exam just before Spring Break to test their abilities in a
second language. The results are in! Alice Kim, Yvette Tan, Anita Ho, Brandon
Lim, and Alysha Ali ranked 1st (!!), 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th in the state of
California among 2nd year Japanese students! Additionally, Leila Adel, Sanhloc
Le, and Hy Cao placed 19th, 14th, and 4th (!!) respectively among all 3rd year
Japanese students in the state! Your sensei is so proud!
